  • What is GPS?
    • aka Global Positioning System
    • GPS is NOT a TRACKING SYSTEM (i.e. chip set transmitter)
    • GPS is a LOCATOR
  • How does GPS work?
    • A GPS unit is only a "stopwatch"!
      • It measures how long a signal takes to reach it from satellites about 11,000 miles in the atmosphere.
