    • Socialization
      • The process of learning one's culture through interaction with other members of their society
        • from parents, siblings, friends

  • People Acquire Culture through Accultuartion
    • Acculturation occurs when people move from one society into a different one
    • A person gives up old ways (customs) and learns new ones in order to fit into a different society
